Welcome to Het Sauna - A wood-fired self-service sauna at Jækta in Mosvik
Book a space in the communal sauna, rent it privately, or become a member and get unlimited access to the communal sauna.
During the visit
- All use is at your own risk.
- Bring two towels (one to sit on, one for bathing) and a drink bottle.
- Children are welcome when accompanied by an adult.
- Alcohol is not allowed in the communal sauna.
- Allow 30-60 minutes of heating time before the sauna is nice and warm, unless someone has used it before you. Adjust the heat with wood (refill) or door (ventilation). Target temperature: approx. 80°C.
- Firewood is available for guests.
- Clean up after yourself
Lower your shoulders and feel the calm by the river. The sauna should be a low-threshold offering – easy to use, open to everyone, and without any requirement for fancy equipment or experience
